Overview of the Ministry of Villages
The presence of the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration has a mandate to carry out the Jokowi-JK NAWACITA, especially the Third NAWACITA, namely "Building Indonesia from the periphery by strengthening regions and villages." One of the big agendas is to oversee the implementation of Law No. 6/2014 on Villages in a systematic, consistent and sustainable manner with facilitation, supervision and assistance. Village assistance is not just carrying out the mandate of the Village Law, but also an important modality to oversee village change to create an independent and innovative village.
